Finally got back my hist midterm for my California history class. B+. Whoohoo. Actually, I’m looking it over to see if I can argue for an A-. Well, now I can goto my advisor and dean with this and maybe they’ll over look the D that I got in my other class. Probably not. I need to talk to that teacher anyway to see if there is any extra credit I can do. And this week I HAVE to start working on the paper for my California History class.
Sunday Lunch with Suzanne’s family turned out better than I expected it to be. I was pretty quiet most of the time, but I did have a good time. It’s so wierd cause they are a big family and they have their own traditions and stuff. But wierd in a good way. Her dad shaved his beard off, so he actually looked good. We really didn’t say much, which was probably for the best. Tiffany, her older sister, actually looked like she lost some weight. And Kimberly, Suzanne’s younger sister, and I were on good terms too. All in all it was a good lunch. We went to a Chinese restaurant in Concord that I guess is a family tradition to goto. We ordered tons of food, but we ate most of it too, which was amazing. After lunch, Suzanne, her mom, Kimberly and I went to Sun Valley Mall to do some shopping. Mainly it was Suzanne and Kimberly shopping. Suzanne tried on some coats that really looked good on her. She really liked the leather one, but their was another one that she really liked too. They are def. on the Christmas list of what to get her. We went into Hot Topics next and they had the silk anime shirts that I really like. I almost got one, but held off on it. Then we went looking at Cashmere sweathers for me, but I started to get tired and just wanted to leave. I think it’s all the people that are at the mall. I get anxiety attacks. Which is odd cause I’ve never gotten them before. So we left, but Suzanne and I kinda got into a fight. So the drive home was really unconfortable. When we got back to Antioch, I was going to just leave because she wasn’t talking to me, but I decided to stay and to work it out before I left. That’s how we are so different, Suzanne and I. If she is mad, she wants to work it out and to solve it right there and then. If I get mad, I’d rather stew over it and cool down before I deal with it. One again, we are so different, I can’t believe that we are going out. Must be the sex 😉
Just read a random post from someone who went to see Madonna in concert in NYC. **sigh** that would be a dream come true for me. I hate spending money for CD’s at stores. I remember when CD’s were 12.99 max and you could goto Curcuit City and get them for $10. Now, they are like $18 – $20. Oy Vey!!! Anyway, mainly I get my music from BMG cause they ususally have a buy one get 2 or 3 free. The thing is they don’t have new releases until later. So I can get older CD’s but I have to wait for newer ones. But I’m thinking that I will put out the big bucks for Madonna, esp. after reading the review of her show.
I really want to get Whitney Houston Greatest hits, but I think that I will get the DVD instead of the CD cause they are almost the same price. The thing is that I saw a T.V ad for this CD late night. It’s just kinda sad to see a diva like Whitney selling her stuff on late night T.V. Whitney, just get rid of that dog Bobby. You can do so much better. OMG, I saw her on the cover of the Star or the Enquiror and she just looked TORE UP. I mean she was just FUCKED UP LOOKING. **sigh**
Speaking of looking tore up, I could use a little work myself. O.K. ALOT OF WORK. I really haven’t been taking care of myself in a multitude of ways, but I’m going to try and to change that. I say that all the time, but this time I think that something will happen. We’ll see what happens.
Looking at the users icons on the Search by state. Tonight’s project, after the library and laundry, is to make a new icon. I’ll think about some ideas in class and at work.
Speaking of class, it’s almost time for me to go. I think that I’ll leave Livejournal up on this computer. I’ve been doing that latetly with the computer that they have in the student center. Just my way to get more people hooked on LJ I guess.
So much more I want to say…I’ll just have to hold on until tonight I guess
