But going back to David. There are just so many things that makes me dislike him. First of all, he was very clingy with Amber; and I mean clingy. Which I guess I can understand with the groups additude with him. But still, man let go once in awhile; she won’t float away or anything. And they were all over each other, which was really wierd to watch. And he has no opinon for himself. He would say one thing and then when Amber would say something, he would change his mind and agree with her. The funniest moment of the night had to be when Kurt was leaving to go home and he wanted to know if David wanted to go and smoke a pipe with him. To Kurt, smoking a pipe means tobacco; To David, it meant smoking marajuanna. It was so funny listening to them and they didn’t even have a clue about what the other was talking about.
The other thing was Gabi talking about Barry and how there’s no date for their wedding. I can understand Gabi’s frustration cause they have been going out for a long time now, like 7 years. And Barry isn’t necessarily the most affectionate person; correct that he doesn’t openly show his affections with cards, flowers and stuff like that. But on Barry’s side, he just graduated from Davis and is looking for a career job so he can have a steady income. And his parent have both gone through failed marriages, so I can see him wanting to be cautious. And Gabi still has a…very strong link with her family that is…well strong to the point of alomst controlling? Hmmm, I not describing it right…And the other thing is that Barry is a guarded person, like me to a point. We kinda keep our inner most thoughts to ourselves and that can be a bad thing. But to the ones that we love, we share and give everything to our signifigant other; or at least that how we see it. But the other person usually feels like we are blocking them out and that causes problems. It doesn’t help that Gabi is Peruvian, and while she has that hot beauty that all Peruvians have, she also has that firey S. American temperment along with it. I just think that they just need to meet somewhere in the middle of their minor differences and they will be ok.

moving on to Michelle, she was depressed cuase this guy didn’t call her and stuff. Later on we really pissed her off by talking in her room when she wanted to goto sleep. I apoligized later, but it is so fun to see her mad cause she GETS MAD. She is moving out and moving in with Barbara soon. I think it will be good cause I think Michelle needs someone to guide and steady her a bit (just for ref. Lesa and Michelle are sisters and Barbara is their cousin.)
I guess the biggest shock wasn’t the fact that Lesa was pregnant, but Amber’s new boyfriend. Oh man, talk about rebound matterial. I guess he isn’t bad looking, but man, I honestly can’t see what Amber sees in him. Actually I feel kinda bad because we really didn’t give him a chance. Which is a bad thing in our group; that is when somebody in our group has a new boy/girlfriend, we don’t work hard enough to include them with the group and all the old H.S. stories come out and we talk about stuff that they know nothing about and just leave them out of it. It was kinda why I never got got them together with Suzanne when we were going out. We broke up on the night that they would have met her in person for the first time.

So I leave April’s and head up to Sacramento to goto Lesa’s house near Mather AFB. I get there and there is a small party going on with Lesa, Kurt, Gabi, Michelle, Barbara, Amber, and Amber’s new boyfriend David. Oh baby, where to start? I guess I should start with the 4 shots of tequilla that I had along with the coke flavored rum. The main reason that I was there was to confirm that Lesa was actually pregnant with Kurt’s Baby. And oh it’s true. Kurt is so happy, and all he was talking about was the wedding that he thinks is going to happen in a month. I wonder if a baby is enough for Lesa to marry Kurt. I personally don’t think that it should be a reason for marriage. But Lesa does love Kurt; they just need to work out the issues that they have (that lesa has anyway).

So we headed out in April’s Civic for dinner. We tried Outback Steakhouse cause it’s been awhile since I’ve been there, but it was just too crowded. So we decided to goto Cattlemen’s. Oh, it has been way too long since I’ve had Cattlemen’s. If you are not a vegitarian and love good meat, then you HAVE to goto Cattlemen’s. I had a shrimp cocktail for an appetizer and a fillet mignon with a baked potato for a main course. I believe April had sirloin, but I’m not sure. I also had this Midori Martini that came in this shatter that I had no idea how to use (I haven’t had too many martini’s). It was fun watching me make a mess of things. But dinner was excellent; we talked about stuff going on in our lives and I really got some good insight from her. Afterward, we stopped by Hollywood Video to get some movies for her (she got Strange Brew and Being John Malcovich) and we stopped by Safeway for Ice Cream. She got Phish Food (Chocolate ice cream with a marshmallow nougat and caramel swirl and fudge fish) or Half Baked (Chocolate Fudge Brownie meets Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough — A crazy concoction of chocolate ice cream & vanilla ice cream mixed with fudge brownies & gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough)) I think. I think she has it posted on her journal. I got From Russia with Buzz (A caffeinated cross of coffee ice cream with coffee liqueur & dark coffee ice cream mixed with espresso fudge chips). Talk about good stuff. It was after 11 when we got back to her house. We ended up taking pictures on her staris with our cameras. We ended up taking 4 or 5 shots of us. I thought about asking her if I could stay over to watch the movies with her since she was alone. But I promised Lesa that I would come up to see her that night, so I left to head up to Sac.

So I got up to Vacaville to pick up April. Of course, April looked beautiful. But I was totally stunned by her sister, Miranda. At it was not because I caught a glimpse of her with just her panties. I mean I remember her when she was in middle school and just seeing her now. WOW!!!! But all the Lopez women are really good looking. They must have really good blood or something.
The other thing was April’s dog, Chi-Chi. This dog must be over 100 years old. I mean the doglooks exactly the same has she did years ago. I think that she kinda remembered me; she didn’t growl or bark at me, but she was watching me with her lazy eye and whenever I got close, her tail would start to wag in a warning manner. Back in the day, that dog used to hate me big time.

Well, this weekend was def. a fun weekend for me. After prying myself off of Diablo II, I did some errends and got ready for dinner with April. I finally left Berkeley around 6pm. I had to make a stop at Serraph’s to pay back the money that she loaned me for rent(thanks again). She was in the middle of drawing dresses. I sometimes think that she should have been a fashion designer. Some of her designs were great, some I didn’t like. She also has this collage of lovers on her closet door. the lovers are couples from perfume ads in magazines. It was kinda interesting in a way; All these different people in different poses conveying the same ideas. I couldn’t stay too long because I was late for dinner with April.

I feel something in the air….it could be the power of the moon, but I don’t think so. At the extremes of my mind I can see the clouds start to form and gather together. I can hear the thunder roll in the back of my mind. And yet, still I stay in the same place, not yet ready to move from the spot that I have settled in. How long before the clouds fully form and the thunder turns into lightning?
