Today’s Mobile Horoscope: There’s a

Today’s Mobile Horoscope: There’s a new spring in your step. Are you in love? The answer is obvious.
Well, I’m not sure about that, but the rain has gone for the moment. The sun is out and the air smells clean. **sniff, sniff** Oh wait, there is the smell of jury duty on Monday. blah.
Well, it’s time for my Saturday ritual of cleaning my room and doing laundry. I wonder if I can pay someone to figure out why I am always doing laundry. Also need to go to the post office to pay bills. But I’m tired of my ATM card taking forever to work. I need to change banks anyway.
Also need to go grocery shopping too. **sigh** life in the real world, huh. O. K. Cam is on if you want to make sure I’m cleaning. Need to get stuff done before the sunbeam swings around and I’m trapped into just laying in my bed and soaking up rays.

Good times tonight playing Mechwarrior

Good times tonight playing Mechwarrior with Kurt. I think that I am really improving out there. After a 1.5 hr long battle royal, Kurt and I finished the night off with a 1-on-1 15 min match in the Coliseum. I was up in points and then in the 10 min mark, I slipped and Kurt took the lead. Poop. Anyway, lots of stuff to do tomorrow, so off to sleep I go.
Oh yeah, Promise to myself that this weekend, I am going to take some pictures. Don’t know what of, but the camera will be used.

Ahh….took a nice nap. Broiled some chicken, and watched some TV with Mike
Now in my messy, but getting comfy room.
I guess Kurt called while I was sleeping. I should look for the mic., but I think I will wait until tomorrow. I’ll call him tomorrow too, cause it’s cold outside.
Well, better go and see if him and Barry are playing or not.
What else? Have a new look that I want for my website and I also need to play around with Moveable Type.
Maybe later.

Back from the bookstore party.

Back from the bookstore party. One beer, a bag of chips, and three cookies later, and I’m parking the van at the garage. Rain is lightly falling and Norah Jones’ Come Away With Me is on the radio. Right when they get to the line, “And I want to wake up with the rain falling on a tin roof, while I’m safe there in your arms.” I start crying, for a good minute or two.
Anyway, I am home now. I should be going to do laundry, but I think that I am just going to sit here and listen to the rain on my window for awhile…

Also found my missing posts.

Also found my missing posts. Stupid me has been posting to my Livejournal. I don’t use LJ anymore, but I’ve kept it around just in case. I should copy/paste, but too lazy. Nothing important really

Ah….Friday. Thank God. It hasn’t

Ah….Friday. Thank God. It hasn’t been a bad week; actually it’s been pretty decent. Still, I’m feeling that strom clouds are gathering. Maybe it’s just my overactive imagination.
Tonight, there is a bookstore party that I need to make an appearance at. Also, Mark might be able to get us $5 tickets to the Warriors/Mavericks game. What else? Mountain of laundry to do (what else is new) and Jury Duty on Monday maybe. If I do have jury duty, then I just might make a day out of it downtown. I will bring my camera and I will take pictures, no matter how bad they are. I wish that the Asian Art Museum was open, however it’s not open until next week.
Also need to dig up a mic for my computer. Barry and Kurt found a voice communication program to use with MechWarrior 4. Alright, NOTHING, would have helped us with the slaughter that we were given on Wed night. And it was a slaughter; at one point, the other team just waited for us to come to them. I thought that I did O.K., I got some nice shots in on the other guy. I just couldn’t finish the job.
O.K. got two more orders to recieve before the party today.

Friday Five for 3/14/03

1. Do you like talking on the phone? Why or why not? I don’t mind talking on the phone, but I’m sure that my friends don’t see it that way sometimes (I’ll explain more on question#3). However, I’d rather talk to the person in person than over the phone. But doesn’t everybody prefer that.
2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone? According to my cell phone, it was April. But I talked to Lesa for awhile on Monday or Tuesday, I think. Actually the last person I talked to was Paulfrom work, who asked me a question about something we had at the warehouse.
3. About how many telephones do you have at home? There are 3 telephones total that I use. I have this phone in my room hanging on my desk. Then there is the cordless phone which is an older model of this phone. The phone is actually Mike’s phone. Lastly, there is my cell phone, the Panasonic Allure. The plan was that Mike and I were going to use our cell phones more than the regular phones, so I could just get basic phone service. Actually, all I wanted was just DSL, but you have to get phone service to get DSL. Anyway, the problem is that I get really bad reception here inside my house. Actually, it’s all around SF State; maybe it’s the fog or something. So in order for me to talk to someone on the phone, I either have to go outside, where it is usually cold; get into the proper position and alignment (standing in the lotus flower yoga position upside down); or talk to people while I’m at work, or at the clubhouse, or anywhere else but home. In addition to that, I hate to talk on the phone while I’m driving (I never have my headpiece with me for some reason). So if someone calls while I’m driving, I’m usually very short with them and it seems that I don’t want to talk to them.
4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened? Bad phone manners….I don’t think so. I mean, I’ve had people take me with them to the bathroom, but they’ve been close friends, so it was O. K. Then there was the whole Gabi blow drying her hair incident (You had to be there and you have to know Gabi (**big picture of Gabi and Amber**). As for me, I have the tendency to leave long messages from time to time. Like 2, 5, 10 minute messages. But only rarely.
5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not? I’m kinda either or about it. It’s just a matter of doing it. I try to remember to call or e-mail people, and I think that I’m better at it. However, I think that my track record is still pretty bad.
