X-Men 2 question….

If you haven’t seen X2 yet, then just walk on by. If you have seen the movie, then read on cause I need your help

O. K. Gambit and Beast are in the movie. I saw Beast he was Dr. Henry ‘Hank’ McCoy on the TV show at the bar. However, the only mention of Gambit was when Mystique was looking through the computer files. However, according to IMDB,there is a person playing Gambit. Where in the movie did he show up at? I am dying to know

Two strikeouts, waiting for the thrid one

Called two places that looked nice off of Craigslist. Both of them shot me down when I asked about payments on the deposit. **sigh** not good at all. Not feeling that well, think that I will postpone the search for a place to live until tomorrow. Of course, the thoughts of living in my car have reappeared.
Spending the rest of the day hiding out in my room, I think. I should back up my hard drive before I move. Also need to clean room and do laundry. **sigh** Maybe I’ll go out and do that today.

I should be cleaning my room. – I’m not.
I should be trying to ad Songwriter to my website. – I’m not
I should be downloading pictures from the game. – I’m not
I should feel ashamed or bad about my procrastination – I’m not.

What a day….

Wonderful time at Pac Bell Park. Started out raining, but after an hour rain delay, it cleared all up. Am exhausted though, time for a nap.

Might as well update while I’m here

Went to the Century theathers in Daly City (the new one in Daly City next to the BART station) with Angie to see X2; it was her birthday present to me. We were going to goto Fudgeruckers (sp?) to eat, even after the experience that I had there (will link later). Howerver, the lines looked really long, so we decided to go in and have movie food.
The first thing about Century Theathers is that they don’t take ATM or credit card. No you have to go into the lobby and use an BOA ATM to get money. Hello, 21st. centruy is knockin at your door with a credit card machine. Think you should take it.
Anyway, so we go up and get our food and the place is just a mess. I realise that it’s a Friday and big movie is coming out, but still they could have gotten someone to mop the floor so it wouldn’t have been sticky.
So we get in and are waiting the 30min for the movie to start. Instead of having their own station with B-C grade pop/AC music, we get Mosak. And also, the ads were really bad; hardly any movie trivia stuff. But we did learn that anyone that is under 5′ gets 50% off their meal at Todai. Why 5′?
Another thing about Century is that they will let you bring in whatever food you want into the place, you don’t have to sneak it in. People carrying boxes of pizza; talkin about XL size, not personal. What else, there was Fudgeruckers, Quizzno’s, and someone had a huge ass burritto that looked good.
So the movie is starting and these bebe kids come in 5 min after the movie starts and are expecting to get seats together somewhere in the middle of the theather that we are in. Please. And then they had the nerve to yell out for their friend.
Then later in the movie, somebody cell rung. Hello, is it THAT HARD to turn your fucking cell off before the movie.
It didn’t help my movie experience that my brother was calling me though the movie, AFTER I CALLED HIM AND LEFT HIM A MESSAGE SAYING THAT I WAS WATCHING A MOVIE AND TO CALL ME TOMORROW. So I had to endure what seemed to be an eternity of my cell vibrating silently in my pocket.
BTW, X2 was really really good.
The kicker of the night was when we were leaving the theather and walked into the lobby and into a stink cloud. I’m talking about some sick smelling stuff that made me gag. And it just like clinged to us for about 50′ before it let go of our nostrils. Horendus.(sp?)
From now on, I only watch movies in SF at either AMC or Metreon.
O.K. Need to go home and look for my wallet. And goto Giants game.

Boycotting Century Theathers

Yes I am. Will go into more detail tomorrow. And the words Ghetto, Bebe Kids, and Stink Bomb will be in the entry.
At least X2 was good.
Tomorrow, going with Amber, Rob, and Juan to see the Giants vs….Cincinnati. Have to arrive early to get our Barry Bonds pins. This is if it doesn’t get rained out.

Friday Five for May 2, 2003

**note** There are so many songs that I could fit into these questions, I only picked out the songs that were playing in my Creative Jukebox at the time.
1. Name one song you hate to admit you like. Justin Timberlake – Rock Your Body **sigh** I feel like such a hypocrite, esp after I did a rant about coporate radio sucking so bad, but I like this song actually. I’ve like the last three singles that have come out and thought about buying the album. He reminds me of a young Michael Jackson for some reason.
2. Name two songs that always make you cry. Moby – When It’s Cold I’d Like To Die; It is such a haunting song and I get a little teary listing to it (the vocals sound like Annie Lennox. INXS – Never Tear Us Apart; I have been crying to this song ever since it came out in the 80’s.
3. Name three songs that turn you on. Prince – Gett Off; Half if not 2/3 of Prince’s songs are about sex. There is actually another Prince song that is really good, but I can’t think of it. I think it was on the Diamonds/Pearls album. Janet Jackson – Someday Is Tonight; I had the greatest, sexiest video in my head for this song in high school. Just thinking about this song aouses me. INXS – Kick Maybe not the sexiest song out there. However, there is just something…raw, like rock/roll raw that is sensual to me. Maybe it’s lead singer Michael Hutchison that does it for me.
4. Name four songs that always make you feel good. BT – Dreaming; There is probably a list of 5-10 BT mixes that make me feel good. This just happens to be the one playing at the time. James – Sometimes (Lester Piggott); James is proably better know for their hit Laid, however I am always replaying this song after I hear it. James Brown – Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag; It’s James Brown, enuf said. Prodigy – Breathe ; this song gets my blood racing and my body flailing. Then there is the slow part, catch your breath, and then start all over again.
5. Name five songs you couldn’t ever do without. The Doors – The End; Counting Crows – Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby; Dave Matthews Band – Proudest Monkey; Oasis – Champagne Supernova; Moulin Rouge Soundtrack – Hindi Sad Diamonds. There are so many more I could add to this list, but these are the first five that came up on my Jukebox

w.bloggar, MS PowerToys, and SongWriter

w.bloggar -The w.bloggar is an application that targets to be an interface between the user and his blog(s), in other words, is a Post and Template editor, with several features and resources that the browser based blog editors can not offer.
This makes it so much easier for me to post my MT journal on my site. Before I had to log in to my site and blah, blah, blah. In addition, it grabs song info from Windows Media Player, which is something that I have been longing for (even though most of my music is on my Jukebox.)
Window Media Player Fun Pack-The Windows Media® Player 9 Series Creativity Fun Pack includes two exciting new sets of visualizations to enhance your music with fun, synchronized eye candy. In addition, a “blogging” plug-in can add information about your currently playing music to your Web journal. Read more about blogging and the plug-in below. To download, you can choose the full pack, with both the visualizations and the blogging plug-in, or choose just the visualizations or just the blogging plug-in.
The Blogging plug-in is the thing that I’ve been waiting for to use with the LJ and Blurty clients. Before, I had to input my song by hand into my entries. Now I have one-click service just like the people using WinAmp. Unfortunately the visualizations don’t seem to be working. Oh well, no biggie.
SongWriter-SongWriter, a free plug in for Windows Media Player 9 that let’s people visiting your website know what song you are listening to.
This is the program that I want to put on my site. At one point, I could get the album picture to show up, but I couldn’t get any of the text info to show. Well I still have 2 weeks of DSL to figure it out and to get it set up. This guy has it set up on his site and even has the code posted for it; couldn’t get it to work for some reason.
Mobydock-MobyDock is a freeware launchbar / taskbar program that allows you to control your applications and folders while displaying some cool mouse-over animations.
My biggest secret is that I am a big fan of how Mac OSX looks. I love the Aqua theme. Anyway, this is a taskbar that mimics the OSX toolbar. It’s a cool program, but still a bit buggy, and a major resource draainer. I actually think that I would use a Mac if there were more choices for it.
