Not actually work, just at work to use the internet.
Not having an internet connection just blows big time. On the one hand, I guess it’s good, cause it forces me to jump back into reading. But still, I miss it.
Mike has cleaned up the house for potentials comming to look at it today and tomorrow. I am so over Mike, at this point, the only reason that I am still living with him is because I am waiting for my paycheck to move. O.K. Also probably doing it so that no one else can move in just to spite him. **sigh** Luckly I’ve been busy with stuff so that I have been out of the house. Question, is it too much to ask to open a window when you are cooking so that the house doesn’t smell like whatever you cooked that day. O.K., just counting the days. I still need to talk to him about the deposit; want to get a firm date on it and to get it in writing. Also need to finish scrubbing the marks off of the wall. Don’t think that I will have to worry about painting them.
Warehouse move is picking up. Feeling more and more confident that I can pull it off without any major accidents. **cross fingers**. Once that is taken care of, then inventory, and then I’m taking myself a vacation.
I’m already trying to decide how to spend the money that I will be saving by moving. The first thing I want to do is to pay off my JCPennys card, just so that I don’t have to deal with it anymore. Also want to fly up to Washington and see my parents this summer. But the biggest thing that I need to do is to SAVE!!!! Not having any money in my savings account is what got me in this situation in the first place. Once I get the savings account stuff up a bit, then I can focus on paying more on my car payment and student loans.
Then there is the DSL question. There is DSL in the place, and I could use my wireless router and connect to the internet that way. However I wouldn’t be able to pay Mechwarrior 4 or any online games. There is a phone jack in the room and I could just get my own. Speakeasy had a deal where if you sign up with them, then you could get a free PS2 or XBox. Something to think about anyway.
Also have toyed around with the idea of getting a 2nd job again. It’s not like I’m doing anything with my weekends right now; and with extra income comming in, it would just help me pay off stuff that much faster. None of this is going to happen until after the warehouse move at the earliest. Something to think about.
Also need to buy stuff for the new room. A Queen size bed frame is up towards the top of the list, since I am loosing space. Thought about having Mike take me to Costco to get one, but I think that I will troll around Craigslist to see what I can find. Then there is the issue of the plugs. The plugs in the room are 2 prong, not 3 prong. Most of my stuff is 3 pronged (the computer stuff). I wonder if I am capable enough to do the electrical, or will I have to hire an electrician.
O.K. I am hungry, so off to lunch I go.
