For the last week I’ve had Pink Pantheress song Girl Like Me in my head. More specifically the Basement Jaxx sample from Romeo “Let it all go.”
I know why the lyric is in my head, besides being part of a great and catchy song. But the meaning could means two things. Do I let go of all the bad thoughts and emotions that I keep trapped in my heart and mind. To let go of all the suffering I wrap myself with?
Or do I let all of the hope and life I try to cling to go. And just surrender to the peace of death.
