My father, Joseph Haywood Rogers Jr. passed away in Bremerton on September 21, 2019. He was 86 years old. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia during the Great Depression to Joseph and Viola Rogers, Joseph graduated from Saint Leo College and was in the army for 20+ years, serving in both Korea and Vietnam. Retiring in Port Orchard, he is survived by his wife Sung Hui (Sonia), his sons Joseph Lamont (Marty), Eric Jerome and wife Cynthia, his sister Jacqueline Howell, grandchildren Maximilian & Louis, nephew Daryl Howell and Roosevelt Brown II, nieces Denise & Deborah Howell, grand-nephew Noah Howell, and family friend Shon Crouch.
