So driving to mom’s house and I get a call from Eric that mom is at the hospital. She got locked out of the house because Lourdes/Mexican Lady changed the locks. Neighbor was able to break in through window and reopen the door. They discovered that she had no food and was eating ketchup for two weeks.
Picked up mom at the hospital and took her home to this:
Not sure if the house was like this when EMT/Sheriff/Adult Protective Services came over to do wellness checks. So Lourdes bought a house with mom but is not living here. Mom says she comes once a month to get the mortgage payment, that sounds like mom is paying all of it. Two bedroom are locked, but I’m going to open them after I switch the front door locks. It looks like the bills are in mom’s name; at least the electric bill.
Plan is get mom some in house care before I leave next week. Also goto Wells Fargo and see if Lourdes is using mom account for more than bills.
**Bonus** The person that owned the house before Mom/Lourdes died of a drug overdose, which might help explain how they got the house so quickly.
