- Went to the bank to check the account. There are some questionable withdrawals earlier this year, but the last three months look clean.
- Still need to call the East Coast bank and get a new card and statement. But don’t think I should get one mailed until I can get the mail key.
- Took mom to the local Korean market and she is stocked up for the time being.
- Fire department came by to do a follow up. I showed them the email from adult protective services and they gave mom a cognitive test and going to come back Tuesday
- Started cleaning mom’s room. Took out the broken fridge and cleaned most of the drawers. Cleaned the fans in the room.
- Found the cell phone Lourdes left for mom. Prepaid Tracfone with no money on it. Mom wants a cordless landline. Need to figure out who the local phone company is.
- Got mom Korean food; Had to buy mom a real rice cooker.
- I know she took some of my pills even though none of them are painkillers
- Home care is set up 3x a week for 4hrs. We’ll have to see what the over/under is for mom chasing them out the house.
- Taking mom to the weed store was an adventure and then some…
- …and the adventure had become a nightmare. Whatever mom got has fucked her up. Hoping it wears off in 2 hours so I can leave her and get her prescription.
- Since the State of Washington says she is well and competent, I’m sure it will be fine.
- So both mom and Lourdes don’t want the house or to do anything with the other one. I feel like there is a punchline somewhere but I’m not laughing.
