…See that roses really smell like boo-boo…

So I crunched the numbers (badly it seems) and woke up super early (thanks medication) and bought a new 32GB iPhone.

And now I’m basking in the glow of the phone with a glass filled with my smugness next to me.

Really, it was kind of an amazing day at work, like I was finally admitted into the clubhouse or something.  Oohing and Aaahhing over the whiteness of the phone (yeah, I got the white one), talking to me about what apps to download and what tricks I can do with the phone.

Screw the therapy and the meds, all I really needed to do was to spend $300 on myself.

And I think that I even looked a bit slimmer today…or maybe it was the striped shirt that I was wearing.  Naw, it had to be the iPhone that was slimming me down.

Even the roommate was nice and offered me some watermelon. And I’m not worried about poison, because talking on the iPhone neutralizes all poisons.  The iPhone, is there anything it can’t do.

Well, the one thing it might not be able to do is to help me figure out how to pay my student load payment this month.  I forgot about it when I was figuring my bills and now I’m short.  I have until Monday to get the money or I’ll be overdrawn.  The sensible thing to do would be to return the iPhone…but that’s not going to happen.  I figure this is the first time that I’ve been late on a payment in over 7 years and I’ll get paid in a little over a week so…that has to be good for something, right?

**sigh**  One step forward, two steps back.  At least I have an iPhone with a compass to tell me what direction I’m going in.

OMG, a guest! Quick, leave a coment!
