Thinking of you tonight…

Not you, although I am always thinking of you.

Not you either.

No, I’m thinking of you.  Thinking of you and the events of this last week and the tragedy that happened across the bay.

I appreciate all that you and your fellow officers do.

I appreciate that you all put your lives on the line every day to make the world a safer place.

I wonder where it when all wrong where people turned the good guys into bad guys and the bad guys into good guys.

Regardless, I am thankful for all that you do to protect and to serve.

Guilt

I’ve been feeling guilty that I haven’t posted here lately.

So here is a post to ease my guilt.

I should get a cat.

Cause if I had one right now, it would starring at me right now with a look that says, “Stop with this depression crap and get out of bed and feed me.”

How old am I?

|
Old enough to be cracking up inside listening to these highschoolers sitting around me; and yet I pray to God that they turn off their phones and shut up during the movie

The end of an era

|
I'm here at the Metreon downtown waiting to watch The Watchman. I'm actually here early thanks to Muni, which was on time for a change. It's kinda sad being here at the Metreon and seeing how the passing of time has affected it. I was here when it first opened up. It was def. a shinre to the entertanment and tech at the time. The Sony store was a temple to all things Sony. The Playstation store had all of the newest and greatest games. The arcade had a Battletech simulator and a video bowlng alley with bar. There wass even an animaltronic retaurant based on Where The Wild Thing Are. This was the first theather i went to that had stadium seating and goumet food you could order. Going to the Metreon was a sspecial treat for blockbuster movies Years later and the Metreon is showing it's age. Most of the restaurants and stores are closed. The Playstation store is closing and the Microsoft store is now some haunting shrine to those crane game you can never win at. I guess this is what happenss to all malls or movie theathers. Sigh, the kids next to me are ssyncing their watches like it's a mission or ssomething. It's cute to say the least.

A Reminder….
