Don’t you hate it when you put on a pair of underwear and they just don’t fit right, but you leave them on anyway cause you are running late for work and the rest of you day is just shitty no matter what you do…

Yeah, I thought so.

entry from the phone while I install WOW on win7. got room cleaned up in time for chinese new year roommate still has his "new" Dell sitting out in the living room unboxxed...from July 8, 2008. That iss more than six months. Why buy a computer if you are not going to use it? guess I'm ready for yet another rush at the bookstore. The floor is passable, but there is so much unfinished. Diet has officially crash/burn with my trip to McD. There still might be hope, cause it really sucked and Im sure that I won't be going back soon.

Stuff

  • I didn’t expect the new year to be that much better for me and my roommate, Aaron.  I did think that we would try to be more civil to each other at least thru January before things fell apart.  Didn’t think it would take two weeks.  Anyway, tonight I once again got the awkward moment of staring behind my back and silence before leaving the room.  Going to ask Sang Yup what he really thinks of me and see if he wants me to leave too.  I mean, if both of them don’t want me here, then I should use the money that I’m trying to save to move out instead of buying a second third refrigerator for the house.
  • I believe Sang Yup’s “new” computer has been sitting in the living room for over 6 months now, still unopened.  Will have to look at the tracking number to get an exact date.  I just can’t figure out why you would buy a new computer from Dell, and then not open it and use it.
  • I hate going downtown to pay parking tickets.  Don’t understand why I have to goto two different places to pay tickets.  Places that have absolutely no parking.
  • You would think that being at a police station, it would be easy to find an officer that had a few minutes to sign off your parking ticket saying that he saw your registration sticker.  You would think that…
  • The bookstore manager stress is hitting me earlier this year than usual.  Not sure if it is hitting Amber or not since she is upstairs most of the time.
  • I slightly miss my Wii.
  • Finally got Windows 7 burned and installed on my computer.  Not too impressed with it.  It loads slightly faster.  No ‘wow’ features for me right now.  Most likely because somehow I don’t have sound on it and the old drivers I downloaded didn’t work.  Hopefully, it will get better before the final program comes out.  Honestly don’t think I will get it even with the price I get for working at the bookstore.
  • I do love my new all-in-one printer.  I really good deal.
  • Finding a dish drying stand just right for three people is harder than it sounds
  • They actually make a multi-level dish dryer stand for $69.99
  • Part one selling my old stuff is done.  Next up is my ASUS R2H UMPC.  Even though the battery is dead, I think I can still get some money out of it.  The other stuff like the 1MP camera and my 1st gen Creative MP3 player I think I’m just going to drop off at goodwill.
  • Got so stressed out today because of the downtown/ticket paying thing and work, that I totally killed the diet and got a Bacon Cheeseburger and frys.  I feel bad, but fat just taste good and it has a calming effect.
  • I really don’t want to move out.  This location is just too convenient for me.  And I doubt that I will find a room of this size for the same price.  And then the packing and schlepping stuff to a new place, etc. etc.  It would be different if I was moving into a place of my own.  But right now I still can’t really afford to do that.
  • I need to do my taxes to see how much money I’m getting back from the government.  The way that California’s budget is, I doubt that I will see a penny from them anytime soon.

APRIL 24
The #1 song in the U.S.A. on this date in history, according to Billboard magazine.

from Chinese Astrology: Exploring The Eastern Zodiac

Polarity: yang (positive)

Food/Beverage: Poultry, Carbonated Sodas
Sign Order: Third Flower: Violet
Symbolism: Military Salute Gem: Amethyst
Lucky Color: Purple Feng Shui Direction: East-Northeast
Fragrance: Citrus Lucky Number: Seven
Flavor: Sour

The third position in the Chinese Zodiac, the Tiger, is captivating, extreme, and rebellious.  Those souls born into Tiger years learn the lesson of “nobility,” and are symbolized by the respectable salute of honor from a subordinate to their leader.  This classic “hero” type of personality represents power, courage, and action without forethought.

The Tiger plays for stakes and aims to win at the game of life.  The competitive and self assured Tiger seeks challenges and audience approval, and is fiercely independent.  This fiercely self-reliant soul may appear gruff and tough on the outside, yet they are tenderhearted and affectionate towards those whom they love.

Because the Tiger is an animal of the yang disposition, it is their nature to be energetic, confident, and to end up in first place.  The three unrivaled qualities of those born into Tiger years are courage, enthusiasm, and protectiveness.  Tigers condemn shallow displays of sincerity, meddling, and all forms of personal criticism.

The most harmonious time of each day for the Tiger is between 3 a.m and 5 a.m.  These are the predawn hours when the yang force grows, and during which the Tiger refuels their endless energy and unfailing self-confidence.  Little distinction exists between the genders of this sign.  Both are graced with a strong character and great powers of resistance.  Whether male or female, their immense energy allows Tigers to undertake sizable projects.

This Photo Album feature of the new Live Writer is interesting…

…except I have to create a whole new set of usernames and stuff with Microsoft.  Blah.

No thank you.

Downloading the beta of the new Windows 7.  Cause I’m bored.  I have a free drive that I can put it on, so I’ll try a dual boot thing.  Just waiting for the 2.4 GB to download.

I saw this at Target and I almost signed up for a Target card just to buy it since I had no money in my account at the time.  Which is probably a good thing.

Using the new Windows Live Writer 2009 to type this entry.  To be honest, I’m not liking the UI adjustments that they made.  Also, it seem that every Live Writer update gets brighter and brighter.  I wish that i could customize the skin for it.

April 24th

You're on a continual quest for peace and self-improvement.  There is no room in your life for any type of discord, especially spiritual.  you believe that there's a pattern to things, an order, and once you understand that, harmony develops naturally.  This outlook, combined with the individualistic, perfectionist birth number of 1, motivates you to try to constantly refine your personal abilities and release old, outmoded behaviors.

You're very talented and have financial aptitude.  Careers that focus on money (banking, financial advisor, etc.) suit you well.  The only problem is that you suffer from underlying indecisiveness that comes from lingering teenage angst.  By the age of about thirty-five this should dwindle, and you'll feel comfortable enough in your skin to move forward boldly.

Lovers need to be reminded to be gentle.  You love very easily and deeply, often collapsing into a relationship and getting lost there.  Nonetheless, with a well-balanced partner you are very inventive and diligent about relationship maintenance.

Gift idea: a calculator or nice checkbook cover.

Living in Harmony with the Earth

You've been hoping for a major career break for the past several years. Finally, it seems, New Year's Day of 2009 just might bring the long-sought appearance of the good fortune you've been awaiting. At midnight on January 1, the Sun, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto will all be in Capricorn, an Earth Sign like Taurus. Saturn will be in Virgo, another Earth Sign – all connecting beautifully with your sign. This may bring career success and the resulting monetary gain, but it might also imply that this will be the year when the grassroots environmental movement actually attracts a lot of followers and begins to make serious progress, and you could be in the thick of it all.
