Computer Vacation talk.

ECS Motherboard, AMD Athlon 2800+, AMD 2200+, 512MB RAM, Coolmaster Silent CPU Cooler
This is what I plan on doing on my vacation up in Washington. I’ve already shipped up my old computer, it should arrive the same day that I get up there. Plan on taking out the motherboard that is in the Gateway and putting in this new motherboard, CPU, and RAM for my dad. Then, for my old computer, I’ll upgrade the CPU on that one for Eric. The problem is that I didn’t have enough money to get a hard drive for Eric; I forgot that I gave the 20GB hard drive I had to Barry. Eric will also need a new graphics card. Hmmm. I’ll have to figure out something when I get up there. Maybe I can get my dad to buy the stuff. Or maybe Eric and I can goto Fry’s and get a Fry’s credit card. Oh, I’ll also need a monitor; I wonder if I can use the old one on the AST Pentium 60. Stuff I can figure out when I get up there. If nothing else, I can put most of it together and I can order the rest of the stuff later and Eric can put it together. The only thing that I am worried about….O.K. two things. The first is that I have to get this stuff up to Washington. I went to the airport’s website, but they didn’t say anything about bringing computer parts on board. The second part is that if any of these parts are defective, I’ll need to return them. Luckily, there is a Fry’s in Seattle; hopefully, they’ll let me do a return if I have to.
Time for more laundry…
