Time travel and music taste

If time travel was possible, there are several periods in time that I would like to go back and just kick my own ass.

This thought was brought up when I was shredding some old receipts and looking at old credit card bills. I still don’t know what the hell I spent to rack up the bills that I had back then. The only thing that I can think of is my Dragonlance & Forgotten Realms novel collection. That still wouldn’t explain all of it. Anyway, I’m glad that period of time is slowly
coming to an end. I officially won’t reach the end until all of the charge off and collection payments are off of my credit reports. Still, I’m glad that I was able to pay them off instead of declaring bankruptcy.

I also found a list of CD’s that I sold to The Wherehouse before I left Vacaville for San Francisco. It was actually two different transactions. I think the first one was because I needed money to pay off a bill or something, and didn’t want to ask my parents for the money. The second was because I was going to start my collection over again and become a “serious” music listener. I know that a third of my collection they wouldn’t take, mainly because it was Japanese Anime soundtracks. I gave it to Mew and then her ex, Mike, took them when they broke up. Anyway, here is the list: The titles that are in red are the CDs that I have today; the titles in blue are the CDs that I have the music in a greatest hits collection.

I biggest problem is with the 19 that I have now. 19 CDs x $13.00 = $247. I spent $247 buying back CD’s that I have had before. It is actually more because 3 of those CD’s were 2CD collections. And now looking over the list, there are a couple that I want to get back into my collection, like Cracker (has the song Eurotrash Girl; not sure if some of you youngin’s will remember the song). Also U2 (I could just get the
greatest hits CD’s, but Achutng Baby was one of the best CD’s ever. I can listen to the whole CD all the way through over and over again). What else; Pulp Fiction, Miss
Saigon, When Harry Met Sally, def. the Wham! CD’s. The Kenny G. and Barbara
Streisand CD’s just confirm my gayness, but the question mark is the Smashmouth CD. I don’t ever remembering buying it since I have hated them since they came out. I think that might have been a mistake since I refuse to believe that I bought their album. The other interesting thing to note is the Dave Matthews CD’s that I had a year before I met Suzanne.
