Mostly productive day even though

Mostly productive day even though I didn’t get any sleep last night. Think that I was worrying about the drug test and working has a cashier after…what, 4-5 years. Anyway, I ended up going to sleep around 4-5am and waking up at 8 to get ready for work.
Since I didn’t get any sleep, I threw the diet to the four winds and got some coffee from Starbucks. Resisted the temptation to get Krispy Kreme until I burned my Pop tarts in the microwave. Next thing you know, I am headed to KKD for a dozen assorted.
At least I got quite a bit of work done today. We left a semi large order for tomorrow (well, today, I guess) but everybody will be there so we should be able to bust it out quick. And then the accounting room is almost done, so I can have Bob come out next week to take a look. The only things that I am lagging on is finishing the inventory of the gift/clothes aisle and getting the coin lockers up on EBay.
Getting motivated to do stuff at home is another matter. Actually, I guess I did a little work. I’ve been cleaning out my bookmarks/favorites. I had so many; I still have too many. But at least I’ve organized them to a degree. I also started playing around with a new design for the web site, but I really can’t do anything about that until I figure out if my site needs to be moved to a new server. Also got some reading done and watched wrestling; a classic match tonight.
Still tripping about the postI made earlier about my birthday facts. I am a year older than Tiger Woods, a month older than Alanis Morissette, and one year younger than Alyssa Milano. And while they are a pro golfer, singer, and actress respectively, I am a warehouse supervisor. It makes me think of this song (which makes me think of Suzanne, but that is another matter…)

Dancing Nancies

Don’t you ever wonder
maybe if things had been slightly different
you could be somebody else
don’t you wonder maybe
if you took a left turn
instead of taking a right
you could be somebody different
Could I have been
A parking lot attendant
Could I have been
A millionaire in Bel Air
Could I have been Lost somewhere at Red Rocks
Could I have been
Your little sister
Could I have been
Anyone other than me
Could I have been
Anyone other than me
Could I have been
Anyone other than me
Could I have been
Anyone
He stands touch his hair his shoes untied
Tongue gaping stare
Could I have been a magnet for money?
Could I have been anyone other than me?
Twenty three and so tired of life
Such a shame to throw it all away
The images grow darker still
Could I have been anyone other than me? Then I
Look up at the sky
My mouth is open wide, lick and taste
What’s the use in worrying, what’s the use in hurrying
Turn, turn we almost become dizzy
I am who I am who I am who am I
Requesting some enlightenment
Could I have been anyone other than me?
Sing and dance I’ll play for you tonight
And thrill at it all
Dark clouds may hang on me sometimes
But I’ll work it out then I
Look up at the sky
My mouth is open wide, lick and taste
What’s the use in worrying, what’s the use in hurrying
Turn, turn we almost become dizzy
Falling out of a world of lies
Could I have been dancing nancy
Could I have been anyone other than me?
And then I’ll sing and dance I’ll play for you tonight
And thrill at it all
Dark clouds may hang on me sometimes
But I’ll work it out then I
Look up at the sky
My mouth is open wide, lick and taste
What’s the use in worrying, what’s the use in hurrying
Turn, turn we almost become dizzy
