I am Joe wanting to leave work RIGHT NOW…

**Sigh** All of the recieving is done for today, but there is a shitload of paperwork that won’t get done today. Basicly, I have to go through and clean up shit from other departments. Will def. wait until tomorrow. So instead, I am going to take off with Mark to take the last load of heavy stuff. Blah. Afterwards, I have to goto Sprint to pay my cell bill. I tried online, but it wouldn’t take my CC, something about my address.
What else. Got new DVD’s from Netflix; Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Dancer in the Dark. I’m really excited about Dancer in the Dark with Bjork. I hope it’s a good movie. Crouching Tiger will be good, even though I will be watching it on my monitor. I wish I had a big screen TV to truly experience it. I will probably wait until this weekend to watch it with Suzanne, since she has never seen it. And since I jut love this movie, most likely Suzanne will hate it.

I am wondering what the hell is Joe doing here…

I do not want to be at work today. It is spring break and I should be on the beach somewhere with a beer bong or a tequila shot or something. Why isn’t there a Spring Break in real life? Almost makes me want to go back to school again.
Well, Oscars were O.K.; long; as usual. I am happy that Denzel and Halle won their Oscars. Can only hope that in the future, we will see even more ethnicy at the Oscars. The one thing that seemed to be lacking was good taste in dresses. Was it me, or was this a truly horrible year for the women. I’ll have to hop over to the E! website and see all of the dresses before final judgement, but what in the hell was Gwynith Paltrow wearing and why hasn’t she taken off her makeup from the Royal Tenabaums yet.
Other exciting thing this weekend is that I found out that girlfriend has little patience by watching her bang away at her new IBook. Yes, I am somewhat jealous of her. The plan is for her to bring t to my place this weekend so we can use my DSL connection to download stuff. We are also going to try to set it up so that we can play Diablo II together. Aren’t we just the cutest.
**sigh** The store keeps calling me about paperwork. I guess I should start working.

This is Joe’s caffeine hangover….

Spent Friday night and Sat. in Antioch with Suzanne. Decided to come home last night when it was around 10pm and Suzanne was ready for sleep and I was still awake. So I decided to come back home (not a happy decision with the girlfriend.) Made in @ midnight and watch Sat. Night Live and caught up on computer stuff. Puttered around the computer until almost twoish working on the web page (the black hole of my creative thought is more like it). I should have went to bed then, but instead, I decided to raid fridge for my remaining girl scout cookies and Pepsi. Not a good choice. 5am comes rolling around before I put down the book that I have finish reading from front to back. Just now waking up. Need to take a shower and get out of here, even though I already know that I am going to hit traffic at the tunnel and maybe the bridge by time I get out of here. **sigh** Will be watching the Oscars tonight; just wish that Suzanne had cable so that we could watch Joan drunk ass on E!. I miss the mini parties that Shawn, Marie, and I would have watching Joan drunk ass talking smack about the celebrities on the red carpet.
Justin is cutting the weeds outside. That is a funny story too, but I think I will wait until later to tell.

I am Joe semi sense of accomplishment…

Finally fixed my e-mail. Now I should be able to get mail @tygreyes.com. Still no web site though. Poop.
My review went well, Just a couple of minor things that I have to handle. Overall boss is very impressed though. Small pay raise, which kinda sucks, but I’m not too worried about it right now.
I have a very naughty picture of Alyson Hannigan on my desktop. **deep breath**
Am enjoying my new phone. I just wish that I had the cable to connect it to my computer so that I could download new music and pictures.
Plan this weekend is to jaunt up to Suzanne’s after work. I have little money, but I don’t think we are doing anything special. Her brother is coming home on Sat. Oh yeah, her family finally got the new couches. But since the Larson family reunion is next week, I can get the futon until after. No problem. I have big plans for that futon.
India.Arie CD was def a good choice. Now that I’ve heard the entire CD, I’m kinda bummed that it didn’t win any Grammys. It seemed that there was a lot of good music from different genres this year. Alicia Keys, India.Arie, the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack, Missy Elliot; All good stuff.
Anyway, I should hit the sack…

I am Joe groovin at work….

Listening to India.Arie CD which I just got. It is a good CD so far; very relaxing and mellow. It’s soulful, something that I am realizing that I am lacking in my CD collection. Will def. have to add this to my Nomad Jukebox.
I am the only one here at work today, so of course the gift dept. decides to fax shitloads of orders to the warehouse. Blah. And I still have my review with Brian later today. **shiver** I hope it goes O.K.

I am Joe’s rant about Yahoo….

That is it. I am so fed up with yahoo. Besides the fact that the mail account is all spammed out and yahoo filters are useless. I think I am ready to just delete my account. If I need an emergency e-mail acct, then I will just use my hotmail acct.

I am Joe’s review of Final Fantasy:The Spirits Within…

O. K. Def. not Ming-Na’s best acting role, voice or otherwise. And the story def. could have used some work. But I guess that the point of the movie was to see if Square could make you belive that the characters were real. For me, the answer has to be sometimes. There were a lot of scenes that you just knew were computer generated. But every now and then through the movie, I was questing myself over if what I was seeing was real or not. It was so real and life like.
I think it was an good effort from Square soft. The thing is, it’s all about the story, not the effects. Look at Final Fantasy VII; The graphics were great (when it came out ages ago) When you summoned a creature to help you; those scenes kicked ass. But even better than that was the story and how it played out. OMG, I remember my jaw dropping at the end of the first disc when Sephiroth swoops down and kills Areis.
So what else is going on. Somebody is burning incense. Blah. Also Justin was ranting earlier tonight. At first I thought it was cause I cooked in the kitchen tonight. But, when I went out, he was being friendly to me. Anyway, the kitchen was clean, so I would have put him in his place if he would have said anything.
Tried to get the Grad Pack, but not enough money. Sigh, I spend money way too much. Will have to figure out a plan of some kind. Maybe I’ll just get the announcements for right now and get the diploma frame later.
I miss my girlfriend…

Current music: No Doubt – Dark Blue (actually it’s the instrumental Too Late at the end of the CD)

I am Joe laughing at the radio…

They are playing clips of “The Osbournes”, and it is hilarious. I am def. going to have to catch it on MTV. Will have to have the close captioning on to understand what Ozzy is saying.
Am pretty much finish counting supply stuff and straightening the inventory out. There are still a shitload of things to fix, but the majority is done. Now starting on the gift section. May God have mercy on my soul.
Tim is off to Phoenix to watch some Giants baseball. Bastard. So tomorrow, I am all alone. hopefully, it won’t be too busy.
Leaving work a bit early to goto the store to pay for my grad pack. Tonight will be all about updating the address book and letting people know my new email and cell numbers. Fun. Will also watch Final Fantasy tonight.
I am just a party and then some. **rolling my eyes**

This is the first of Joe’s Financial Aide Bills

This one isn’t that bad, only $40/month. It’s the big boys that I am worried about. I was expecting to pay $200/month, but my friend says that her’s is $300/month. That’s going to suck esp. if I have to start paying car payments too. **sigh** I best make an appointment soon with Financial aide and get ecerything started.
Welcome to the real world, I guess.
