I am Joe’s sadness…

Suzanne called a little while ago and told me that her grandmother is in the hospital. I hope and pray for her.
Marie (Suzanne’s Grandmother) is one extraordinary lady. She has done so much and has been all over the world. She used to be a teacher and her house has the most amazing collection of books. If I could only live to do half of the things that she has done or experienced, I could be content.

I am Joe’s newest addiction….

I caved and used the money we got from selling pallets to register Collibricks. NOTHING is going to get done here.

A little more grammy thoughts…

O.K. Sherryl Crow was def. dressing on the sluttly side last night. She even beat Lil’ Kim…
Gwen Stefani; try again please….
Beyoncee f/Destiny’s Child – Somebody been taking their natural breast enlarging pills, I see.
And once again; who was the hairstylist and make-up artist that attacked the hell out of Pink before her performance.

OMG….Just saw pic of Christina

OMG….Just saw pic of Christina Aguillera before the show and her “Lady Marmalade” performance. What happened, somebody jumped her and took all of her clothes. O.k., I guess she had to be skimpy for the performance, at least some deranged hairstylist didn’t attack her hair like they did to Pink.
And poor Britnney. I guess after her mom read in the tabloids that her daughter was living a life of sin, she made Britnney dress up.
And who in the hell let Ike Turner in the building?

I am Joe’s Post-Grammy Wrap Up….

So it took Dave Matthews performing on the Grammies to get Suzanne to goto Best Buy and get an attenna for her T.V. We started watching the show kinda late, partly cause we thought it started at 8pm and because with an attenna, they get Sac stations, not Bay Area stations. Hands down the best performance(that we saw anyway) was Alicia Keys. Talking about rising to the title of “Diva”. India.Arie was great too; I wish that they would have given her something though. I will def. need to get her record. And the singers from the “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” soundtrack. I was glad to see them win. N*SYNC was O.K., but I have seen them do way better than what they did last night. And Mary J. Blige had a really good performance.
I didn’t see the pre-Grammy show on E! with Joan Rivers, but I know that one of the biggest Grammy misses was when the Dixie Chicks and Sheryl Crow came out. I think that Sheryl Crow was ok looking, if maybe leaning on the slutty side for some people. But the one Dixie Chick wearing that lt. blue dress with jeans? And DON’T get me started with the one wearing the Pancho/Rug combo…
The only thing that I need to do is to find out what is the difference between Album and Record of the Year. and how can a person/group get nominated two years in a row.
