“You can’t argue with a good blow job.”

A quote from Napalm & Silly Putty by George Carlin
Anyhow, Buffy was an O.K. episode, I guess. Kinda afterschoolly special, like some of them have been.

I am in a converted living room, which means that I have plenty of space; 17 x 17 I think. There are three windows, unfortunately they are not bay windows. There is a ceiling fan/light that has it’s own remote control that cost $300 (Justin WON’T let me forget that it’s $300 and that he installed it himself.) There is also a fireplace, which I have yet to use. The room comes with a mirrored closet, phone jack, cable, and the floors are hardwood. The biggest problem with the room is that there is only one electrical outlet in the room. So there are extension cords running around the room, and I still might need more. So in one corner of the room is my computer on the new desk that I bought at IKEA. The piss off thing about it is that about a week later, the Office Depot went out of business and there is a desk there about twice the size of this desk for only $20 more. But it was here that Suzanne got me a nice and comfy exec chair. **sigh** I wish I could have a chair like this at work too. Anyway next to the computer is half of the wooden bookshelf that I have had for awhile now. For the longest time, it was the only piece of furniture that I owned. Since my books are still at the warehouse in storage, I’ve been using half of the bookshelf to hold misc stuff. The other half is in the opposite corner of the room where I have my radio and the small T. V. that Justin is letting me use. On the wall across from the window is my new bed. It is a queen size firm mattress with a comfort pillow layer on top. I love it! The only way it could be better if it was a king size. On the floor in front of the bed is my tiger rug that has been used for everything from a blanket to a wall rug but never has an actual rug. Over the fireplace I have a mantle. Call me crazy, but I am excited about having a mantle. I put my full length mirror horizontal on it and I have some pictures and kick knacks on it (I think that is the first time that I have ever used kick knack in a sentence). I also have the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon statue that my brother got me for Xmas. That is about it for the room. One thing that I am desperately missing is a dresser for my clothes. I have been kinda picky about what I want (5-6 deep drawers around $300-$400), but I might have to settle for something soon. Besides, I need to get rid of a lot of my clothes, so I should have plenty of space with something smaller. Suzanne mom is letting me have their old futon (which is the same basic futon that I took from Shawn/Marie and gave to Randy when I moved out from Park Merced to The Village.) and so I won’t be so far away from the small T. V. I really want to get a big screen T. V., but I’m torn over what to get. I could settle for a decent 25-27″ T. V. But then I really want a HDTV, but the cheapest one that I have seen is $1000. I also have this dream of an ultimate entertainment center by placing a nice television with a good surround system and my computer. It’s a dream that I should really let go of. The only other problem with the room is with the heater. Suzanne thinks that it is noisy, but I think it is kinda soothing. The problem is with Justin and his pot smoking and his incense use. He is all the way in the back of the house and he has no windows. So all the smoke from his room goes into the vents and comes out in my room, esp when the heat is turned on. I think that is the reason why my chest has been hurting for the last two weeks. So the last couple of days, when I have gotten home I have opened all of my windows and turned the fan on to air out my room. It seems to be working cause my chest feels much better. I have a feeling that Justin might say something about it one day. **sigh** I hope not, I really don’t want to move again, but if I have too. Anyway that was a very long and confusing description of my new place. It will make a lot more sense with pictures, which I will probably take tomorrow afternoon when there is some sunlight in the room.
