How do I know that I still care about school.

I picked up Civilization III, held it for a minute, and then put it down and walked away.

Damn, looks like Livejournal was

Damn, looks like Livejournal was out for most of the day. Not too much to catch up on…
Well, while livejournal was down, I went car shopping. Found a nice Toyota Celiac for 19,000. But they wanted $3000 down and payment of $575. OUCH!!!!! Well, I almost cried once I got out of the dealership. I knew my credit was bad, but not that bad. I was expecting something like $450 a month maybe. **sigh** Well, I am still planning on meeting Suzanne and going to Saturn. But am unsure what I can get with my credit. Will def. have to cut back on what I can get. I might just pass and lug the Metro in for a new engine and shock and fix the glass and the back taillight that April busted. 😛
After that traumatic experience, I picked up some Ben and Jerry’s and holed myself in my room feeling self pity. Later, I got enough energy to study a little for my midterm tonight and headed to the mall with Mary to catch up on stuff. **sigh** So much bookstore drama going on that I don’t know about. So glad that I’m away from it all. The midterm went pretty well; almost filled up a whole bluebook. I spent too much time on the first question and I brought the wrong binder, so I had no lecture notes. So I had to use the reader and another book for my quotes. But I still think that I will get a good grade, I’m thinking a B for sure.
Now if I can only get enough motivation to finish all of the other stuff that I’m behind in…

So looking at the syllabus

So looking at the syllabus for tonight, it seems that I have a 8-10 page due today. I’m hoping that it got pushed back until next week and then our bibliography got pushed back another week. Here’s a toast to hoping.
**sigh** It’s not like I’m not doing the reading for these classes. I’ve actually read most of my books at least twice. I hve no problem reading the shit and I actually finding it fascinating. I just hate trying to put my own ideas about the stuff on paper. And there is so much that I need to put on paper.
Hist 642
15-20 page paper/project – 2 pages done, few sources collected
8-10 page historiographical essay on the 60’s – 0 pages done (eep!)
bibliography for said 15-20 page paper – hah!
AAS 310
Midterm tomorrow. Just need to explain why white people are the cause of suffering for all of the other races in history, in this case the Chinese (You think that I’m kidding; he has all but written it on the board. He actually made a chart about it, I wish that I would have copied it down)
Anth 569
Dropped it. Actually I’m withdrawing out of it, but it looks like I have to get the teacher and the dean to sign paperwork on it. Hopefully, it won’t be too difficult to do
Hist 469
5 page midterm – 3 pages and DRAGGING…..oy vey is it Dragging
5 page book review on Children Book (Laurence Yep/Dragonwings) – Need to find the book and read it)
So that is the state of my academic progress for my last semester in college. Not looking pretty folks. **sigh** I wish that they could bottle inspiration, dedication, or maybe an anti-procrastination pill. I could def. use an antidepressant. I guess I should start back on the St. John Wort. Poop.

For all of these cars,

For all of these cars, there are special financing. VW is 0.9 %and college grad assistance. Honda has 3..9-5.9% financing. Toyota has 0% financing and Saturn has 2.9%. But I figured all of the finance stuff assuming if my credit union was financing me at 6.49%. And I’m not even sure if I would get that with my credit. Actually, I am not too sure how bad my credit is. I know that it’s not spotless, but it might actually be better than I make it out to sound. Anyway, All of these specials end on the 31th, so if I wanted to get one of these, I would have to do it soon.
O. K. time to clean my room and to take my mind off of this.

Car Selection #2

Honda Civic Coupe. Click Here to see all of the details

Not sure of all of the differences between the DX, EX, and LX. But it would be a nice car and if I ever had the inclination to “rice boy” it up, I could have my brother Eric do it for me.

Slowly losing my mind

I could have sworn that I made a post this morning from work, but it’s not there. Nothing really mind blowing, just blah, blah rants
Well, I’m at home now surveying the damage that I have caused to my room this weekend. It’s in a large pile covered by my mink blanket right now. **sigh** The messiness of my room has always been an indication of my mood. Well it’s not looking good, people. I am in a serious funk that I wonder if I can ever get out of. Of course I will, but it might take awhile to do so.
Not even installing Windows XP is helping my mood. Buying more computer stuff is a short term boost that not lasting as long. O. K. once Civilization III comes out on Wed, then I might be happy for awhile.
What would really make me happy is a new car. When to different car sites looking at car prices and stuff. It’s all so nerve wracking. Suzanne really wants me to get a Saturn, and while I’ve moved closer to getting one, I’m still kinda hesitant about it. Blah, I’ll just keep the old Metro for the rest of my life. How’s about that.
