random thoughts during Pres. Bush speech

OMG, he just did the Clinton Thumb…
Tony Blair must be thinking, “God these Americans and their clapping…”
Can Hillary Clinton look more bored. Gawd, for Christ sakes…
Actually, I liked the speech that he gave. O.k. granted, I was dozing in and out of it, but I think that I got the key stuff.
Parts of it was interrupted by my roommate hurling his dinner in the bathroom.
I am feeling a little better after getting some soup into my body, so I am off to class. Poop. Wait a min. been doing that all day long….

Random thoughts

I just heard a radio commercial and it is scary just how many radio stations that Clear Channel owns. I mean, in San Francisco, they own at least half the stations here.
I still feel like shit. If this keeps up, then I am going to stay home from class.
The warehouse is falling apart. I really need to clean up here.
I’m going to have to have a talk with the guys and reel them in a bit.
Just kinda cruising aimlessly around Live Journal and it is amazing at how it has grown. Like the mood icons, I couldn’t believe how many more icons there are now. And just the number of users. Even with the user code stuff, the number of people on here is astounding.
I wonder where our Live Journal T-shirts are at? I wonder if Frank got to them.
I swear if Kendryk( a.k.a. Spanky) keeps on talking about Cowboy Bebop, then I’m going to have to go splurge and buy the whole series on DVD. And I’m going to have to go on to Ebay and bid on some of the CD soundtracks.
**picks up shovel** O.K. time to clean my desk

**sigh** I am NOT going to kill Mark…

Mark: So how old is your girlfriend?
Joe: She’s 22. {long Pause} Why?
Mark: I don’t know, jut wanted to know. I mean it’s such a big age difference between you two. And you are so old; I mean you’re like almost 30 or something. That’s pretty old. And like, you don’t even get carded anymore, right?
{bottle goes flying out of office door aimed at Mark}

Ugh…..

Tim’s gone to class; Mark isn’t here cause he is trying to get a jump for his car; Amber and Paul are comming back later; the IT mob is suppose to come by later; UPS is still not here yet; the copier is jammed; the fax is going psycho; and I feel like shit.
And damnit, it is suppose to be sunny here at the warehouse. None of this gloomy, foggy, cold shit that they have at school.
AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH.

Reading about the 1960’s for

Reading about the 1960’s for my Hist 642 class (the one on the SFSU Strike of 1969) and it is kinda eerie to see what was going on then and what is going on now. Not exactly the same things, but equally powerful in that the nation was on the brink of was (talking about the Cuban Missile Crisis). And also with Kennedy’s assassination, how that stopped the nation in it’s tracks and how the whole nation mourned.
We can look back and see how our choices then affect us now. But I wonder how the choices we make now will affect us in the future.
