Well, after a one hour

Well, after a one hour delay and an hour in customs, Suzanne is finally home from her European vacation. And oh, did Christmas come early for her boyfriend. Lots of gifts including chocolate and real champagne. I have her digital camera cards with her pics and I will download them tomorrow and once she is done editing them then they should be up sometime this week. I will also take some pics of the presents that she got for me too. **yawn** Today was a long day for me too. Inventory at the store was long, but in all actuallity, wasn’t too bad. But I am tired and I think that I will hit the sack early so that I can get some much needed sleep.

Not to pick on older people or the elderly.

But why in the hell when there is a huge lottery prize, somebody over 60 has to win it. Damnit, they are going to die soon anyway. WTF do they need the money. I NEED THE MONEY. Poor Joe “College Student” trying to eek out a living in expensive San Francisco should be the multimillionaire. I think the higher the lottery prize, there should be some kind of age limit. Bah! Poop!
**sigh** O. K. insensitive rant over.

finishing scanning pictures and I

finishing scanning pictures and I notice that the bass from the music doesn’t match the music at all. I see flashes of lights in the sky and run out to the window in the living room. Seems some kids got a hold of some fireworks, and some powerful ones too. Lookin kinda purty.
Also got to see a couple change clothes. NOT that I’m a peeping tom or anything. I just looked down and this guy was putting on some pants and the girl was putting on her bra. God people, if you are going to be nekked or do anything disgusting, make sure that your blinds are down.

Whoa….

scanning more pictures, this time from Baskin Robbins days. A lot of this one girl named Jill Auclair, who I had a crush on. The problem is that one of my coworkers, Chris Romo, also had a thing for her. Well, Chris ended up going out with her for awhile. Anyway, just found out that she left Davis, where she had a full scholarship and joined the Army.
Whoa. She was the last person I’d expect to be in the Army.

What a long day. Started

What a long day. Started at 7am so that Icould get to work at 8am for inventory. The head of the inventory counters was 2 hours late, so we didn’t start until 10am. So much for the Price is Right. Anyway, all of the managers were nervous, esp. Rob (the GM). Even Amber was a bit antsy even though she was wearing her “Been there, Done That” inventory shirt. Well, we were done in about an hour, and and hour of the auditors and 100% accuracry. Woot Woot, as Suzanne would say.
So Rob took Amber, Tim and I out for lunch. We were going to goto the Russian House, which you can see off of 101 on your way to 3com and the airport f/ S.F. It’s one of those restaurants that you pass by and wonder what kind of restaurant it is and you make a promise to yourself that the next time you are passing by, you’ll stop to eat there, but you never do.
Well, we didn’t get to go. We went to the restarant and found out that it doesn’t open until 4-5pm. We later found out that it is for group functions (i.e. Russian Mafia) Anyway, we went to the Bayside Cafe that was next door. It is a really small cafe that I’ve actually been to before. One New Years Eve, I went to a rave with Mew and her friend David at the Cow Palace. Highlights of this night include getting rainned on 10 min before New Years, almost getting killed by a stampee of people, and getting drunk with some strangers. they had a carnival with a ferris wheel and other stuff. ANd if I remember correctly, KLF was the headliners.
Anyway, after the show, we had breakfast at this cafe. So this was the second time that I’ve been here. OMG this place was pretty good. It is very small; I would say maybe 50 people max. But the service was quick and the food was good. They are the only resaurant that I know of that has RC Cola for soda.
So after that, I headed back to the store to help with the count there. I am so tired of counting stuff. But I realise why this day has been so long for me. Last year, I only had to count the warehouse, and we were done by noon. The next day, I went to the Anime convention with Shawn, Marie, and her younger brother Ken. This is the first time that I have had to count both stores. Poop. I have to remember next year to take the day after inventory off.
Anyway, I have to be at the store tomorrow at 8am. If everyting is o.k., then I have to stay at the store and help with the count there. But if there were problems with the UPC’s on the merchandise and other problems, then I have to goto the warehouse and help fix them. Haven’t decided which is worse.
But tomorrow, Suzanne comes back from Europe. Damn, has it been two weeks already. I have to sober myself up, get rid of the drugs and sweep the condoms and the hookers out the door. Hahahaha. Anyway.
**yawn** Bookstore people went to the boathouse to get some brewski’s, but I declined. I think I migh do somemore scans, but I’ll most likely fall asleep. I wonder if I should force myself to stay awake for a couple of more hours just so I don’t wake up too early.
I can’t believe (going off on another tangent) how much happens in one day on LJ. It took me awhile just to read all the going on’s for just one day. Suzanne will have to take another vacation just to catch up on what’s been going on the two weeks that she has been gone.

O.K. I gotta scrounge up some money for some more RAM

I should be asleep by now.
But I had to finish scanning pictures. Memories of the prom. Not of my own, I didn’t go. I went a year later to my girlfriend’s prom. IT was cool cause most of my friends were a year younger than I was. **sigh** I still can’t figure out how Jesse is in almost every picture.
Anyway, I’m going to pee and try to goto sleep. Tomorrow and Saturday are going to be long days.

Man, I am so drained.

Man, I am so drained. I think that I am going to take a shower to help me stay awake a while longer. I plan on sleeping by midnight at the latest so that I can be at the warehouse at 8am. So no Half-Life for me. I’m almost at the end, so I think that I can take a couple of days off. I’ll also try to get somemore pictures scanned before Smackdown! comes on at 8pm. **yawn** I hope I can stay awake.

Leaving the store and coming

Leaving the store and coming home, a wave of anger started to wash over me. By time I had gotten out of my car and was walking towards the apartments, I could just feel the heat trail off of me, like a cloak billowing in the wind.
I have no idea who, what, or why I got pissed off. The feeling is gone now, but I still feel a little tense and shaken up.
I have absolutely lost all control of my emotions.

I am such an old

I am such an old fuddy-duddy sometimes…
An exciting night for me is spending hours scanning old photos. Thrilling, ain’t it.
Actually, it’s not too bad (except this chair is killing my ass). It’s nice to look at the pictures that I’m scanning and relive the memories. And it shore beats cleaning my room and doing laundry.
The pictures that I’m scanning now are pictures that I had scanned before, but I think that I left them on my old computer. It might have been easier just to unpack the computer and copy the pictures from superdisk to regular disks to the new computer. But most of the scans were low resolution, so in a way, this is better. I’m almost done anyway.
I’m actually getting alot of ideas for photo shoots and things to do with my web site. The biggest problem is organizing them. I’m trying to organize them by the event that they were taken at, but some of them I dont really remember. I’m sure that I’ll figure something out thought. How do you organize your photos. By subject (i.e. pics of girlfriend, pics of friend#1, friend#2, etc.) or by event (St. Pat’s Party, Thanksgiving, goofing off on xx/xx/19xx, etc.) or a mix of both?

So last night was the

So last night was the company night at the Giants game. There was suppose to be 40+ people going to the game, but only 20 showed up, which sucked, cause there was this huge thing about now inviting friends. If only half the people were going then, we should have been able to buy at least another ticket for someone else.
Anyway, it was a good time, even though the Giants lost. There was alot of drinking going on. I spent about $20-$30 on beers, hot dogs, and Krispy Kreme. Tim snuck in some coke flavored rum and this other guy snuck in two big ass bottles of gin & juice. Damn, we were so smashed.
Today, there was a planned power outage at the warehouse, so Tim and Peter got the day off. I, on the other hand, offered to help out at the bookstore. It was a cool experience to see people and to help customers, even though I hardly knew where stuff was at. Paul was impressed and all he could talk about was trying to get me to leave the warehouse and work at the store.
I also found out about my raise and I’m getting a week paid vacation. Whoohoo! I’m thinking that I might goto Washington and surprise my family for a couple of days before school starts. I guess they are worried about schedules for fall though. Next week, I’ll dig out the schedule and plan stuff out. If I remember correctly, my main class is two days a week in the afternoon. Oh well, like I said, worry about it next month.
I have been playing Half-Life like a fiend now. I think that I am almost at the end of the game. But I need to put it away so that I can get to sleep early. Friday, I HAVE to be at the warehouse at 8AM; and saturday too. I’ll def. have to goto sleep early on Thursday.
Anyway, tonight I think that I will work on scanning pictures. I want to try to get about half done tonight and I’ll work on the other half maybe Thursday or Friday.
Also need to find out when Suzanne is comming home. I had thought that she said Thursday, but she sent me an email saying Saturday, but her mom said she was comming home Sunday. Maybe I’ll just hang out at the airport all weekend long.
